Wheeler's honored Mikron Industries as the Vendor of the Year at the annual Vendor Dinner. This year's event boasted a new format: a vendor "show and tell" combined with the vendor award and Wheeler's sales rep awards. 

Vendors presented a class on product knowledge to the Wheeler's sales representatives from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.  in the Venetian Ballroom at the Intercontinental Hotel.  From 5:00 to 7:00 sales reps were able to visit with the vendors at their exhibition tables in the Windsor Ballroom.

Then all enjoyed a buffet dinner and a speech by Alan Hunt, Minister and talk radio host.  After this inspiring address , Jim Manis presented the Vendor of the Year award to Joe Hums, Sales Manager of Mikron. Then Wheeler's sales representatives received their performance awards for 2006.

Wheeler's honored Weyerhaeuser Company with the Vendor of The Year Award May 18 in Rome, Georgia. The award was presented during a dinner following a Rome Braves game at the State Mutual Stadium.  Rockett Wheeler, Manager of the Rome Braves, was guest speaker for the occasion.
