Deflection in all cases exceeds code requirements of L/360 Live Load Deflection and L/240 Total Load Deflection. Wheeler's TrimTruss allows for a maximum of 12" to be trimmed from each end of the truss.

Installation Instructions

TrimTrusses can be trimmed prior to installation - a total of 24" and a
       maximum of 12" each end.
Maximum on-center spacing is 24" up to 24' span, 19.2" for 26' span
      and 16" for 28' span.
Trim Trusses have camber; they must be installed with labeled "TOP"
       side up.
   Do not exceed Residential Loading capacity of 40/10/5.
   Minimum end bearing is 1-3/4".
   Do not cut webs, chords or plates.
   Only simple spans allowed.
   Point loads require solid blocking to bearing below.
   Cantilever conditions not allowed.
   Each bearing wall must stack over wall below, and squash blocking
        must be applied.
   1-1/8" rim board or squash blocks required at exterior bearing.
